Jay Beaton
Title/Company: Director of Circulation for Pioneer Press newspapers,
the Lake County News Sun, and North Shore magazine. Pioneer Press is a division
of the Sun-Times News Group, and based in Glenview, IL.
Background: Jay began his career with USA Today and then worked
with privately owned community weekly newspapers in Southern RI. He is a Boston
area native, and will complete his MBA in May of 2010.

as a Classified Sales Representative in Utica, NY. Scott continued his Gannett career
in Fort Myers FL and Ft. Collins, CO. He served as Classified Ad Manager in Crystal
Lake, IL (Shaw Newspapers) and Online Ad Manager in Evansville, IN (Scripps) before
rejoining Shaw Suburban Media as VP of Interactive Media in 2008.

Carrie Lovejoy
Title/Company: Carrie Lovejoy is the editor of The Calvert Recorder,
a 10,000 circulation twice-weekly in Southern Maryland.
Background: She started in journalism at the Bartlesville Examiner-Enterprise
in Oklahoma in the mid-1990s and later worked for the Muskogee Daily Phoenix and
The Pryor Daily Times in Oklahoma. She came to Maryland in 2001 and has worked for
